Breathe

For the past four years, instead of making New Year resolutions, I’ve been choosing a word of focus. Previous year words have included INSPIRE, BELIEVE, and TRUST.

My 2019 word is BREATHE. I chose this word because I have a tendency to stress about things that I don’t have control over. When in reality, what I should do is stop, breathe, and pray.

  1. Good morning, Rhonda! What a great word. I too tend to stress about things I can’t possibly control. (My finances, my grown children, the current market for Christian writers, and you DON’T want to be around me when I’m watching the news.) Your word is a variation on “Let Go and Let God,” but shorter and easier to remember. Thanks for reminding me!
